Grassfed Lamb Meat Deposit

$88.46 - $181.60

The meat we eat matters. Tuuli lambs learn to graze in these hills with their mothers until it's weaning time after about three months. I move them to new forage every few days in the paddocks I set with portable electronet. They’ll have some hay during the summer slump, otherwise they’ll be on pasture til their “one bad day” as the saying goes.

These lambs will be processed in late November and early December at Jordan's Meat Market in Marcus, Iowa. The pickup window will be the first two weeks of December. You get to specify your cuts. An example cut sheet is available, and I'm happy to talk it over with you if you'd like.

This deposit reserves your half or whole lamb; the remainder will be $8.50 per pound based on hanging weight paid to Tuuli Farm, plus the processing fee paid directly to the butcher when you pick up. A group pick-up in the CBO area may be possible if there's enough interest.

Please note the deposit paid here includes the PayPal fees. To avoid the fees, mail me a check ($85/half, $175/whole). As you check out, the only shipping option defaults to $0 (there is no shipping available for meat).
