Officially she is Cardamom II, a Border Leicester x Cheviot ewe, whose feisty nature is coupled with a sweet side. If you have Cardamom yarn from the past, please note the colors of the skeins will be different as her fleece has lightened up somewhat each year.
Fika is Cardamom’s daughter, born in 2022. She inherited her mom’s spunk, plus the qualities I liked in Cardamom’s wool are magnified in Fika’s. She’s also the reason I called the shearer for a fall clip – she had already grown five inches of wool!
