Pearl, Coral, Ephraim Yarn
Pearl is the Tuuli flock matriarch, and Coral was her first lamb in 2019, from when I'd had to sell Pearl since I didn't have the set up for sheep that first winter. I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to get Pearl back along with Coral the following fall! Ephraim came along in 2021. He was one of Pearl's first set of triplets and among the last of the Tuuli lambs born in Vermont.
This yarn is spun from the individual fleeces of Pearl, Coral or Ephraim - all lovely creamy white.
100% undyed wool yarn from Pearl and her family
This batch of yarn came back from the mill with a slubby, uneven texture - variably spun with thick and thin singles. You can cut the largest slubs out as you knit along - making more ends - or include them and embrace the nubbly fabric. This yarn would also be well-suited to patterns that call for felting. You may also find an occasional bit of hay in the yarn.
